This is the first trip that IAESTE organizes after i arrived here: COORG, in Karnataka

We were waiting almost one hour because someone was late...no more coments ;)
So we started the journey around 1:00 am and the bus was horrible, but really horrible, there were no way to sleep even if it was the prefect time to do it! The seats were very small and not confortable at all!! After a while 2 or 3 persons lied down on the floor , but unfortunately there were no space for anyone else...
Around 7 am we stopped for breakfast in a “hotel”- here there are hotels without lodging, only for meals, that was the case; still don't know why they call them in the same way-
After trying to wake up with the breakfast of the non sleeping night, we went to a Buddhist temple ( tibetan settlement), that reminds me very much of Thailand and its numberless awesome buddhist temples...So we started the journey around 1:00 am and the bus was horrible, but really horrible, there were no way to sleep even if it was the prefect time to do it! In front of the temple was a kind of complex with shops and restaurants and we rested there for a while. I bought my first kurta, a nice white one, after bargaining for 10 minutes...getting used to do it again :)
Then we went to a Natural Park where there is a kind of zoo with different animals, we climbed to the hut in the top of the trees and walked for more than one hour in a nice landscape with a river and a hanging bridge.
We were exhausted and went to have lunch in a nice "real hotel" this time. After the coffee we took the bus again to visit an elephant reserve, but when we arrived the elephant's bath was already over and also elephant riding was not available till the next day so the only atraction was to take these small boats from one side of the river to the other, what was not so interesting, so after the group picture we left.
In the way we stopped in a private plantation: Coffee, pepper and banana. The most amaizing was the mixture of lenguages...There was that man working in the plantation that only could speak Kanada (oficial lenguage of Karnataka State) that gave the explanations to our conductor ( busdriver assistant), who could speak Kanada and Hindi (oficial lenguage of India), so he translated to Vineet (IAESTE India) that could speak Hindi and translate to us in English. So at the end we could have an slight idea about the plantation...
Our final highlight of the day were the waterfalls...
It was already dark when we stopped in a nice town, were walking around while started to rain softly and...of course buying something......this time were dry fruits and local coffee for our new coffee machine...and then had dinner...
Coming back way: this time were Inés and me the luckies that got the floor of the corridor to sleep during the whole journey. Good night!
